Hotel Review – The Equus Hotel

The Equus Hotel Review

Our last few nights in Oahu, Hawaii, we stayed at The Equus Hotel, which is located right across the street from Prince Waikiki, walking distance to plenty of stores, restaurants, and the beach.

MY EXPERIENCE

Check-in was quick and easy. The Equus Hotel had our room ready and kindly showed us where to go. This hotel is smaller than the first two hotels we stayed in, but I liked how it was more intimate and less crowded. This is also a very budget-friendly hotel, so if you want to stay local but don’t want to spend a ton, I recommend booking a stay here.

Like the other two hotels, The Equus Hotel also followed COVID-19 guidelines throughout the hotel. Temperature checks at check-in, a mask is required in public areas, and hand sanitizer stations throughout the hotel.

Room:

We stayed in their Deluxe King room, which featured a king-sized bed, flat-screen TV, minifridge, and all standard amenities.

The bed is a good size for 1-2 people, and the bed was super comfortable!

Hotel Dining & Cocktails:

The Paniolo Cafe and Bar

Grab a crafted drink downstairs in the hotel lobby at The Paniolo Cafe and Bar. Great spot to relax and even meet up with a few friends.

Hotel Amenities:

Pool & Lanai

Enjoy a dip pool and lanai on the first floor of The Equus Hotel. Super intimate and relaxing!
