Pink Pillbox
They are also known as Maili Pillbox is located on the west side of Oahu. It overlooks the surrounding suburbs and breathtaking ocean views.
This hike is only 1.6 miles and is considered moderate.
Waipuilani Falls
This hike is tucked away off the beaten path near the Nu’uanu Pali State Wayside, a true hidden gem.
The hike is 1.9 miles but can be confusing, and you can easily be lost. However, you hike through a very green jungle, which features a waterfall at the end of the trail.
So Worth it!
Spitting Caves
Also known as the China Wall, the Spitting Caves are a popular destination among tourists. Totes, one of my favorite spots!
It got its name because the water that rushes into the cave is often spat back out.
Spitting caves is located in the beautiful neighborhood of Portlock on the southeast coast of Oahu.
Makapu’u Lighthouse Trail
This hike is a 2.5-mile trail located near Waimanalo, Oahu. It features beautiful wildflowers and is suitable for all skill levels.
It is considered easy with fantastic ocean views.
The hike is a great place to spot whales using on-site telescopes during whale watching season.
Makapu’u Tidepools
Once you’ve hiked the lighthouse, make sure to make a stop at the Makapu’u Tide Pools. It’s a popular spot and is just down from the first set of whale information signs.
