Photos Taken at The Tremont Chicago Hotel
Neighboring one of Chicago’s well-known original steakhouse restaurants, Mike Ditka’s and blocks away from Water Tower and John Hancock Towers is a “home-y” boutique hotel called The Tremont Hotel.
Home Away From Home – definitely sums up my stay! I felt right at home as I entered this cute little hotel, hidden, yet cozy and chic.
As you walk in, you are immediately greeted by the Bellhops upfront, and you enter this modern-styled front walkway, on the left of the entrance, there are couches, a TV and a dining table area where you can lounge and relax in.
The hotel features 135 rooms and 3 suites, if you didn’t get a chance to watch my Insta-Stories, I had the opportunity to stay in one of their Penthouse Suites – the Michigan Avenue Penthouse.
{Fun fact: my last place I’ve lived in Chicago was actually in a penthouse! This really made me miss my old place here in Chicago, and though ours was bigger, this definitely helped to bring back great old memories.}
The Michigan Avenue Penthouse is their biggest suite out of the 3 with 761 sq. ft suite, 1 and 1/2 bathrooms, and high ceiling windows overlooking Michigan Avenue and a partial lake view.
The suite had a spacious living room area with a fireplace, baby grand piano, 4-seat table and kitchen area.
Though the bathrooms were a bit outdated (which I was informed they should be renovating those in the near future), the bedroom was definitely my favorite room! With big closets and long mirrors, not to mention the bed was SO comfy and a great size for two people. Check out their other suites here.
The Tremont Hotel features on-property dining: (Mike Ditka’s is actually connected to this hotel), breakfast, lunch and dinner, a fitness center, business center and easy access to the Magnificent Mile, Oak Street Beach and various restaurants and bars.
Can this penthouse be the perfect setting for this classy off-the-shoulder ruffled jumpsuit?
Easily paired with black strappy heels and a leather clutch and pearled earrings – ready to host or attend your next elegant dinner party.
