Downtown Girl Vibes

I’m back!!! Finally back in LA, I mean – I spent about a month back home in Chicago this summer, and it was an amazing month well spent with friends and family. Since I’ve made the big move to LA 2 years ago, I haven’t been back during the summer time (which if you haven’t heard, is the best time to go) and only have gone back during fall and winter (which are no fun).

Anyway, it was great to be away from LA, and I am so lucky that I work remotely, so therefore I can work wherever I am! Truthfully, LA can be a bit rough at times, being thousands of miles away from family and good friends had made me feel a bit down for a moment. I was honestly feeling very “blah,” and just really homesick.

Living here is a dream come true, and I honestly am thankful for the incredible opportunities I have had thus far; however sometimes you just need a break and to recharge. Though there may be other factors to my feelings lately, but being home for a month definitely has helped me to take on the next journey. I’m back, refreshed and ready for new challenges and adventures! The year may be ending soon (scary) but I have some exciting events and upcoming trips ahead – so stay tuned!

Today I’m showcasing some major downtown girl vibes; can’t get enough of ruffles lately.
