Just steps away from the iconic Michigan Avenue lies a luxurious and contemporary boutique hotel called the Raffaello Hotel, known for its private rooftop terrace called the Drumbar, and is one of my favorite hotel rooftop lounges in the city!
Before I ventured out to the west coast, I was living in the city of Chicago for over 5 years. Though, I can officially call Los Angeles my new home now, the city will forever always have a piece of my heart, #CityGirlForever. Around the holidays is when I usually come home, and when researching for hotels, I knew I wanted to stay local and be near the downtown area. I had a few hotels in mind, but Raffaello Hotel instantly won the show.
Staying at the Raffaello Hotel took me back to when I used to live a few blocks away from Michigan Avenue. It brought back many incredible Chicago memories, as I reminisced through my hotel window.
Walking into the Raffaello Hotel, you instantly feel welcomed, as you walk through the elegant yet cozy lobby. This hotel features kitchenettes with mini fridges, microwaves and coffeemakers. All rooms have marble bathrooms, flat-screen TV’s with DVD players and free WiFi.
The hotel not only offers a speakeasy-inspired rooftop lounge (Drumbar) upstairs but it also offers one of the best kinds of breakfast (Glazed Donuts) downstairs; making it all too easy to love this hotel.
The Drumbar features inventive craft and classic cocktails.
And of course, I only travel in style. These red lace up boots are too hot to not bring with? Dressed with a simple black detailed lace dress, and a chic striped blazer jacket, how much more fab can you get?

Everything from the cozy ambiance to the impeccable service, the elegant rooftop lounge and the convenience to premier shopping and top restaurants was way beyond my expectations. Needless to say, I had an amazing stay! Whether you’re a tourist or a local, Raffaello Hotel will definitely suit all your traveler needs!
