The Plaid Blazer Trend

Who else is obsessing over this plaid blazer trend? If you haven’t noticed already, every blogger and their mother own this type of blazer – no joke. 

This plaid blazer is a must! Why? Not only is it super chic; but it’s very versatile – which I love! There’s nothing better than a piece that you can wear not only 2 ways but 3, 4, or 7 times differently. Popular ways to wear it is with a pair of jeans (which you most likely will not find me wearing often, or ever) so for my look today I am pairing this trendy blazer with a dress (predictable? haha).

One of my favorite things about the cooler seasons is you can layer. Layering not only keeps you warm but gives you the opportunity to layer extra fun and unique pieces to go with your everyday outfit. To make this outfit more interesting, I wore a black lace crop top as my first layer, then a simple button down t-shirt dress over, and threw on this blazer as the last layer – rolling up the sleeves to make the first layer visible. 

This look really was giving me some major school girl vibes; with the short white shirt dress, it was a given to pair it with over the knee boots in gray, wearing simple accessories such as a classic gray purse, and black cat-eyed sunnies. And lastly, of course, can’t go on without some color in my life, a red beret helped to finish off my look.
