My Oscar’s At-Home Party Look

Happy Sunday guys! Guess what day it is – it’s the Oscars!! Though I will not be strutting the red carpet this year {wink, wink}, I will be at home throwing the most fabulous and cozy at-home Oscars party with some of my favorites!

When planning for the Oscars, the first thing on my mind waswhat to wear!?!? I mean, when you think, Oscars, you think long gorgeous gowns, lots of glitz and glam, etc. etc… But not when you’re watching it from your 55 inch TV screen back at home. I was totally stuck; I mean I still wanted to look fab, but comfy at the same time.
Luckily, I was approached to partner up with Hollywood and Highland to create my very own at-home Oscars party look; I had the opportunity to shop for the perfect outfit to wear to my very first hosted Oscar party.
If you’re not familiar with Hollywood and Highland, they are located in the heart of Hollywood Boulevard, and are home to the Oscars since 2002. The Hollywood and Highland provides world-class shopping and dining – I couldn’t be more stoked!
I headed to Hollywood and Highland just last week and was happy to find they had some of my favorite retailers, Forever 21, Aldo Shoes, Guess, to name a few. I had no idea what exactly I was looking for just yet, but was just playing it by ear. {Me being ‘fancy nancy,’ I could not help but to want something extra fancy!} Finally, after trying on multiple things, I had found the right outfit –
This lacy white romper from Forever 21 was reasonably priced and I would say it is the perfect look in-between dressy and casual (at least in my books!!). It was easy to accessorize, as the romper is clearly the show of the outfit, therefore choosing neutral colored shoes from Aldo and simple jewelry finished off the look. Lastly, this bright colored yellow clutch was the perfect final pop to my look.
I love this look – it’s symbolizes me a lot and I’m happy with the way it turned out!
The best part is you can get this entire look at the Hollywood and Highland mall.
