How to Throw a Successful Oscars Party

Flavorful drinks by Betini Spirits, endless popcorn and treats, fun Oscars prediction games and good friends; I’d say I had a pretty successful first Oscars party.
This past Sunday I last minute threw together an Oscars themed party. All of my favorite people came over to watch the glamorous Oscars air on ABC; from the fabulous best-dressed celebrities (loving Sofia Boutella’s Chanel sequined and feathered lining dress) to the inspiring nominees, I couldn’t help to dream of someday actually going to the Oscars or any fancy red carpet event.. #OneDay #Goals
In the meantime, I’ll be watching it from my 55 inch TV, while snuggling up in my PJs under a bunch of warm covers! {hehe}
To my party I wore something comfortable but chic and curled my hair to make the look fancier. A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to shop for a whole Oscar’s look, if you missed the first post, read all about my partnership and where to shop for my look here.
When hosting an Oscars Party here are the things you MUSThave:
Popcorn: I am a big popcorn fanatic; and is a total must-have when watching a movie-awards show. I am a butter-lover but was also thinking of my guests as well, so I bought two kinds of popcorn, one with light butter and the other with extra! :- )
Alcohol: Throwing a party is just another excuse to drink, right? Haha. Of course, the best drinks to have when it’s an all-girl thing are Betini Spirits! Not only are these drinks really tasty, but they are low calorie drinks, not to mention are super attractive – the bottles definitely make the shot picture-worthy!
Prediction Ballots and Fun Prizes: Made my very own customized ‘fancy nanc-ista’ Oscars ballots! As soon as my guests arrived, they filled out the forms and afterwards won some fun, great prizes out of it! (1st place: $25 Gift Card to Victoria’s Secret, 2nd place: Pink Yoga Mat, and everyone left with fun little goodies!).
Great Friends:Funny, when I moved to LA I had no friends now I have so many amazing ones! : ) And so veryyyyy thankful to have met these girls! Thanks everyone for coming out! <3 <3
