How to Dress Colorfully in the Summertime
“Boldly be a pop of color in a black and white world.”
If you have been following me for some time now you may notice I rarely wear just black or white – and instead I love my colors. Color creates happiness – it’s bright, eye-catching and bold, which is what I would describe my style and personality.

After a good browse, I came across this gorgeous high waisted green skirt that I just had to have.
When it came in the mail. I knew I couldn’t just style this skirt with an obvious choice but to pair it with eye-popping and bright colors that is perfect to wear for any summer day.
Color may be intimidating for some; but there is no need to be! In fashion nowadays, a lot of color mixtures actually turn out to be amazing! One of my favorite combos is the yellow and green combo. As shown below, I chose to pair my mini skirt with a simple yellow top and fun yellow sandals. Easily finished off the look with red (another color that pairs well with yellow!) sunnies and red statement earrings, and lastly a summery straw handbag. This outfit can be worn by anyone, and extra points for those with darker skin tones as this outfit surely will make you pop and glow!
