Hotel Review: Raffaello Hotel
Raffaello Hotel Highlights
Raffaello Hotel is centrally located a block down from the infamous Michigan Avenue and is situated in the heart of Chicago’s Gold Coast area. The hotel is just steps away from many of Chicago favorites: Navy Pier, John Hancock Building, Lincoln Park Zoo, Water Tower, Michigan Avenue shopping and much more.
This hotel offers guests a choice of rooms from an elegant king, elegant double, deluxe suite and grand suite – while I have previously stayed in their elegant king, this time around I stayed in their grand suite, which is the perfect amount of space for any couple or business traveler. The suite offers a separate bedroom with king bed, living room and work desk, but most importantly, has a very spacious bathroom.
The hotel also offers guests with a classy and swanky rooftop bar called Drumbar. Drumbar sits on the 18th floor of the Raffaello Hotel – if you like one-of-a-kind cocktails and a good upbeat crowd, it’s definitely worth checking out.
While I was there, I had the opportunity to check out their spring cocktail menu. While all of them were very unique and flavorful, my favorites were Cucumber Margarita, Chamomile Ketel Soda, and Strawberry Pisco Sour. See below.
My Overall Experience
Although it was a short stay, it’s always a pleasure. I was in Chicago for my friend’s bachelorette weekend – and it was always nice to wind down and relax alone after a long night out with the girls. While each and every hotel has it’s flaws, I honestly am pleased to say that there isn’t anything that I do not like about this hotel – and would highly recommend it to anyone who is visiting and/or planning a weekend getaway. From the top-notch hospitality, central location and the cozy suites – Raffaello Hotel is by easily far my favorite hotels in Chicago.
