Napa Valley's Meritage Resort & Spa Hotel Review

Every year since about 3 years ago, I have traveled to a new city for my birthday. I am thankful I had the opportunity to celebrate my birthday with friends in Napa Valley, CA this year.

Napa Valley was on my bucket list for a long time, and now I can officially check it off. I had a wonderful time, even more than I could have imagined, and the weather was perfect. The Meritage Resort & Spa was the perfect place to stay during our four-day stay in Napa. The resort was beautiful and offered luxury amenities.

MY EXPERIENCE

I had a wonderful time at the Meritage Resort & Spa from start to finish. The staff (especially the front desk and bellhops) were very accommodating and friendly. They welcomed you with champagne in the lobby and a bottle of wine in the room; very classy.

If you drove, there is plenty of parking, and you can self-park or valet. For our convenience, we self-parked. The resort is huge! Our expectations were completely blown away. At the Meritage Resort & Spa, there are many areas to explore, and the staff is very helpful in showing you around.

Room:

We stayed in their Premier King Room, which featured a king-sized bed, and a private balcony with a beautiful view of the vineyards.

Hotel Dining & Cocktails:

Meritage Resort & Spa has various dining and drinking options, including in-room dining.

OLIVE & HAY

Olive & Hay is Napa Valley’s newest Italian restaurant serving farm-fresh food. The food here is a combination of homemade and homegrown, as well as traditional and innovative Italian cuisine. When I came here for my birthday dinner, we tried many different dishes. I enjoyed all of the dishes, but my favorites were Burrata, Rigatoni, Half-Roasted Chicken, Alaskan Halibut, and Eggplant Parmesan. The dessert was also wonderful!

CRUSH LOUNGE

Here is the place to be if you want some entertainment! A bowling alley, cocktails, and sports entertainment are available at Crush Lounge. Unfortunately, we were unable to check it out, but we hope to do so next time!

BLEND CAFE

Blend offers everything from cappuccinos and coffee to fresh fruit plates, parfaits, and sandwiches.

We all did massages; and then enjoyed their spa amenities, such as a sauna and hot tub. Book your spa treatment here.
