Fancy meets Wall Street

Fancy Nanc-ista

Happy Hump Day!  Hope you all are having a wonderful week!  For this week’s post, I had the opportunity to do a collab with one of my favorite menswear bloggers – Brandon of Wall Street Paper.  Brandon was visiting from NYC last weekend, and thought what better way to celebrate the derby by doing a derby themed shoot at one of my favorite places in the city, Drumbar at the Raffaello Hotel (located on 201 E.Delaware).  Hope you enjoy!
ASOS wide culottes | ZARA strapped heels (similar) | ASOS sunglasses
This outfit is not your typical derby look, but is very summery, and yet appropriate for any derby party.  Culottes are so in right now, and are a definite must-piece to be in your closet this season!
So I have been searching high and low for the perfect culotte pants ever since I laid eyes on them.  When I came across these ones from ASOS, I fell in love!  These wide-legged short pants are so comfortable yet so chic at the same time!  Culottes, can be worn different ways, but I chose to wear it with a simple white flowy tank, and a nice yellow statement piece.  I then finished off the look with white strapped heels, a nude clutch and sunglasses.

Cheers to meeting new friends!  Fun fact: I found Brandon on Instagram, while I was searching for some menswear bloggers to interview for my Manly Monday’s series!  It’s truly amazing how social media can connect us with people from all around the world.  I am truly blessed to have met such incredible people throughout my journey and I am truly thankful for all of you who have been supporting me and joining me on this adventure!  For more pictures on our derby looks, check out Brandon’s post here!
How did you celebrate the derby?  What do you guys think of our looks?
