Fanc-ista Travels {San Diego}: The US GRANT
Located in the popular downtown San Diego lies an iconic, historic hotel called The US Grant. This 5-star hotel offers luxurious rooms, stunning interior and top-notch services; a hotel you must stay when visiting the beautiful city of San Diego.
Just last weekend my girlfriends and I headed to San Diego and had the pleasure of staying at The US GRANT. When I arrived that Friday, I was stunned at the beautiful and striking interior; this place was massively exquisite! With gorgeous chandeliers lined down the hallway, I couldn’t help but stop and take a few pictures. The hotel staff were all very welcoming, every single person greeted you and made you feel extremely at home. I’ve got to admit, this luxurious hotel already won me over as soon as I walked in.
When I say this entire hotel is gorgeous; it is a true statement!! Every room of this hotel was a ‘wow’ factor. When I checked in, I headed to the elevators and as I reached my floor, I stepped into my favorite room of it all. This room (pictured above) is total #roomgoals (haha); I absolutely love the elegance of this room, from the red sofa to the dazzling chandelier and the unique patterns, this room was truly spectacular.
So as wowed as I was with that room, I finally headed to my room, and as I walked in, I was in love! I absolutely loved the white modern and fresh feel while entering the room. The room is their Signature Suites with two king beds, two TVs, living area with dining table and a spacious bathroom (definite plus); the perfect size for 3-4 people.
I mentioned prior the staff members here are wonderful and very accommodating; as I left and came back to my room, I was left some goodies attached with a cute personalized note! These tasty and refreshing drinks were custom cocktails featuring vodka and a refreshing blend of cucumber, grapefruit, lime, tarragon, agave, syrup and Prosecco!
Of course, I visited the gym while I am on vacation (it’s a must to get a workout in)! This gym was amazing, (are you surprised?). Not only was the gym packed with all the essential machines you need, but it also offered towels, water bottles, chilled towels, fruit and headphones (in case you forgot yours!).
As always, I only #travelinstyle, I would say my style is very elegant and classy, and this hotel definitely fit the theme of my blog, which was totally meant to be! 🙂
It’s clear my look today is quite a statement, featuring only bold pieces with a vintage twist. If you want to make a bold statement but not sure what to pair your bright yellow dress with, stick with colors like red, blue or green to make it pop. Here I am wearing a yellow mini dress, with red lace up heels and a polka dotted dark blue scarf. To get a vintage feel, I threw on this unique and eye popping fitted peplum blazer which helps to also create that final “pop”. Lastly, throw on simple pieces such as big pearl earrings, a quilted clutch and a nice red lip (Clarins 32 Pink Cranberry) with curled hair to get that overall classy and oh so fab kind of look!

From the luxurious, elegant and stunning interior to the very welcoming and accommodating staff and the astounding iconic history, The US GRANT was by far one of my most favorite hotels I’ve stayed! The US GRANT just recently renovated their entire hotel and is the perfect time to visit!
The US GRANT is located in the heart of downtown San Diego, with so much to do just in walking distance! They offer complimentary coffeeevery morning and refreshments throughout the day in the hotel lobby. They also offer a fun evening experience on Fridays and Saturdays with live music and bar cart service in the lobby as well.
