5 Must-Have Fashion Pieces to Pack for a Weekend Getaway
At times, packing for a weekend getaway can be harder than packing for a long trip — if you’re anything like me, I tend to OVER pack! Luckily, after years of traveling, I finally have an idea of how to pack – the trick is to pack smarter but not light. For instance, packing something you can wear multiple ways is the way to go.
If you are going on a weekend getaway soon, here are five essentials to pack for it.
1. A Jacket/Coat
Whether you are heading to a cold or hot destination, a jacket or coat is much needed to bring, just in case. Even if you’re traveling to a warmer area, you never know what the weather may turn at night time. It’s best to be safe than sorry.
2. A Day to Night Dress
Dresses are easy and light to pack for any getaway, especially if you can wear them for both day and night purposes. I brought this For Love & Lemons floral mini dress with me on a trip and wore it multiple times. For a day look, I paired the dress with comfy sandals, and at night, I swapped it out with a pair of white mules — it was a hit!
3. 2 Piece Set
