Slip Dress

With extreme hot weather here in LA recently, it’s safe to say that wearing a slip dress is the best way to keep cool. I’ve been in LA for a little over two years and I feel like the weather this summer has been way hotter than last year. I mean, I’m definitely not too upset because I love the HOT weather and would choose it over extreme colds any day, but this heat is out of control.

Anywhoo, slip dresses have been on trend lately, and if you know how to wear it right, it won’t look like you just came straight from bed.

There are many ways to wear a slip dress, from layering it on top of a white tee, patterned blouse and/or comfy sweater to just rocking it solo like I did in today’s look.

Slip dresses are amazing on hotttt weather like this because it’s easy, light, comfy and totally keeps you from sweating profusely.

My slip dress is short, with a little sexy lace peek-a-boo up top; I just simply styled it with lace up booties and an embellished blue purse. Side note, I meant to also wear black lace chokers but totally forgot to put it on before the shoot! Whoops!
