Marc Galobardes is 25 years old and currently living in Munich, Germany. He’s a stylist, future journalist, and blogger. When Marc is not working on his blog or pursuing his journalism career, you can find him traveling around the world. His blog, Carrousel Mc was born from the will to fulfill a burning desire, to write and share all of his experiences in one place. “The hyperactivity which fashion fills me with, makes me wake up every day with the urge to continue learning from it at every single moment.” Marc has worked with fashion agencies, photographers and has collaborated with different websites. Marc is fluent in Italian, Spanish, Catalan and English, and will not rule out more languages in the future.
1) What made you want to start your blog and how would you describe your style in 3 words?
My blog started a few years ago because I wanted to share my opinion and vision about the fashion world. At the beginning I only posted about news of the fashion business but after some months I decided to put myself in front of the camera and show my readers what I am wearing everyday and what pieces are trending for me.
My style is Elegant, Sophisticated and Comfortable.
2) Who is your fashion inspiration?
Walking through cities when I am traveling or when I’m in Munich. I love to look at people and see how they dress because you can always find some inspiration from their looks. I’m also checking many blogs and web communities of bloggers where you can share and discuss your outfits with other bloggers. Social media like Facebook, Instagram or Twitter also have a big part of where I get my inspiration from. And if I don’t have time I simply open my wardrobe and sometimes the inspiration comes. At last I always look through printed magazines that I love to read and analyse every page.
3) What’s the one wardrobe essential you can’t live without?
I can’t live without a well-fitted white shirt because you can mix it with jeans, trousers or shorts.
4) What is your most favorite thing about blogging?
Sharing my life and getting feedback from the readers that become like friends.
5) What is a quick fashion tip or advice for men?
Be yourself and don’t worry about negative comments.
6) Do you have any favorite stores or brands?
I always loved Versace’s clothes because they have so many unique pieces that you can combine with basics to create an incredible outfit. I love their trousers, jackets and bags. If it comes to shoes I have to go with Tod’s. They are made with really good quality, elegant/classic designs and materials. They create the perfect shoes to wear along with a suit or jeans with a shirt. My all time favorite suits are from Hugo Boss. They have fantastic, elegant suits and the tailoring of the suit is perfect and fits extremely well. For sport activities or simply to wear with jeans and sweater I choose Nike because every season they have very special and creative sneakers.
I love all kinds of sunglasses but my favorite glasses designer is Gucci. Their collection includes trendy sunglasses that you can put on every year because they are incredible.
