Layer Up

When it comes to LA weather, it can be super unpredictable. One week it may be mid 70’s, but then the next week it can easily drop down to low 60’s; one thing we do know for sure is that every night of the week is when it gets really chilly. Though it may not be below zero or freezing cold, you still get a cold breeze and it’s essential that we know how to bundle up or layer our clothing.

Today’s look is the perfect example on how to dress chic during the winter time in LA. With thigh high boots, (it makes it easy to cover up those legs), and paired with a mini skirt..will allow you to still show off some skin. Don’t know about you, but my arms tend to feel colder than my legs! Only solution for this is to layer up! You can still wear that cute classy tweed blazer; but try wearing an under piece such as a cozy turtle neck underneath. A blazer like this one, is the perfect final layer to complete the look as it features a tie waisted belt, which not only creates that feminine feel but helps to accentuate your waistline.

Last but not least, accessorize this look with simple pieces such as pearl earrings, light colored aviator sunglasses and this gorgeous leather clutch.
