Blogger Event + Sunday Fun

Yay it’s almost the weekend again! Super excited! I have been one busy bee, been out to an event yesterday, today, will be tomorrow and Friday! Omgoodness!!! So far all have been really fun; tonight the +Windy Blogco had a fun blogging event at this pizza place called Blaze Pizza, (which by the way was amazing). This was my 2nd Blogger’s event ever, and also my FIRST time going to a blogging event alone, and it was a success! I have always wanted to try going alone to any kind of event, meetup, etc, and it wasn’t bad at all, nerve-racking yes! But everyone was so nice and friendly, and I definitely met a ton of awesome people. I can’t wait for the weather to start warming up, and attend more summer events! Should be great!

Anyway, last weekend was fun-filled as well. I got to see a lot of friends and family, which was nice. Last Sunday, I was able to catch up with one of my favorite Filipino girlfriends. She came to the city to catch up, eat lunch, and enjoy the beautiful Chicago weather! It was nice, we decided to get lunch at one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in China Town. This place has the best lunch deal ever. This hidden gem was found by one of my friends 3 years ago, and any chance I get I will go. The place is called “Go 4 Food,” it’s located 3 blocks from the Red Line Cermak stop, so if you loveeee Chinese food you should check it out. They have a lunch special (not sure if it runs every day?) for $5!! from 11AM-3PM. This lunch special includes a spring roll, pop or tea, and an entree (which also includes rice). Honestly, what better lunch deal can you get than that?! Please let me know below if you know of any! 🙂

So this is a very delayed post…. If you follow me on Instagram, I posted my “preview” pic 2 days ago and now I am just having time to post! This was another “casual” Sundays, so I decided to go for something plain but not too plain. Check it out.
