In prime location in Bangkok, Thailand is one of the most elegant and upscale hotels I have ever stepped into; Oriental Residence Bangkok. With a clean, white colored and classy theme throughout the hotel, it’s safe to say this hotel fits my brand to the T.

After two fabulous nights at W Bangkok, it was a nice change of scenery to come to Oriental Residence – not to mention, much needed room space.

Oriental Residence Bangkok offers airy suites featuring rooms with kitchens, living areas and marble bathrooms. So while it was fine sharing a standard room with 2 others, a bigger suite was refreshing.

MY EXPERIENCE
As I walked into the Oriental Residence, it was everything as I’d pictured – white, clean ambiance with pretty chandeliers – it was the exact opposite from our first hotel. Everyone greeted us, too and were very friendly. Like W Bangkok, the check-in process was extremely quick and easy. Quickly right after, we were escorted to our desired room and were introduced to our new home for the next couple of days.

Room:
We stayed in their One Bedroom Suite Corner where we got the best of both worlds – a panoramic city and park view. The suite was a good size for 3 people, as the room featured one king sized bed in one room and a extra cot in the living room. The room also featured a full kitchen, work desk and living and dining room areas. Two of the things I was happy about was the bathroom; it was a good size and was equipped with two vanity mirrors, not to mention, the room had many mirrors in general as well as great lighting. Great for any fashion Queen. 🙂

Hotel Dining and Cocktails:
Café Claire
The hotel offers guests a classic American and Dutch themed café downstairs on the first floor called Café Claire. The café is opened for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

During our stay, we had the opportunity to have Afternoon Tea and enjoy some early dinner right after.

I absolutely adored the Afternoon Tea; not only was it delightful but the presentation was beautifully made. It honestly felt like I was in Paris enjoying some tea! See below:

For dinner we ordered escargot (which was so good!!), snow fish (was my first time, and loved it!), salmon and lastly shared some delicious fondue.

We also enjoyed breakfast every morning here; which offered an array of delicious cuisine.
Oriental Bar
Located on the 2nd floor is this elegant and cozy bar area. Whether you are grabbing some refreshing drinks during happy hour or enjoying a cup of coffee; this little spot will allow you to relax and unwind while appreciating the luxurious ambience.

The Play Deck
You can unwind, relax and enjoy some cocktails and food poolside. They had some great happy hour deals from 5-7 PM.

Savelberg Thailand
If you walk outside, just across from the hotel lies a fine dining restaurant featuring modern French cuisine with hints of Dutch inspiration.
Hotel Amenities:
Swimming Pool
One of the things I was super excited for was the pool area. The pool features an open-air swimming pool with great city views, cute egg-nest looking chairs and relaxing cabanas. Though we didn’t have much time to enjoy it – I had the opportunity to get some fun Instagram-worthy shots!
