The All Leather Look x Slow Watch
Life flies right by our eyes. (As I am writing this I am realizing how crazy it is that it’s ALREADY mid AUGUST?) Have you ever wished you could stop, rewind, press play and slow down the time? We all have busy lives nowadays, that time is rather precious but at the same time we are so caught up in the “go go go” hamster wheel of chasing every minute on the clock.
Moving from a fast-paced environment to a more relaxed and calm city has slowed down time just a bit. In Chicago, I felt like most Tuesdays suddenly turned into Fridays after a blink of an eye, and in LA my weeks somehow felt like forever. Although, overnight it somehow became August? 😛
Recently I discovered a unique, beautiful and modern watch called slow watch. slow watch is unique because instead of the typical minute and ticking hand, the watch uses only one hand that shows the full 24 hour day.
Talk about slow ticking! slow watch is not about speed, it’s a mindset that centers upon valuing time again. What I really love about this watch is that it really does teach you to just enjoy every moment and spend time doing what you love! It also comes in 15 unisex styles, and all are made with stainless steel, what’s not to love?
The watch I chose to review is slow Jo 01 – [c/o of slow watch]. This stainless steel Swiss watch is such a classic beauty that it will match with most of everything in your closet! For my post today I paired it with this hot leather look…Check it out!
What’s not to like about leather? Well despite the fact that it was basically 90 degrees when I was wearing this… Leather is red hot…Literally (haha). Since the leather is clearly the standout piece, I wanted to keep it simple by wearing all black. This look is simple, chic and yet sophisticated. Lastly, finishing off my look with my gorgeous silver slow watch, a black clutch and fringe leather heels (which btw are only $20 now!!).
