Affordable Dresses

It's almost October, and we still have a couple of months until wedding season is over, which means our pockets remain empty. Why? If you've been part of a wedding you know that it can get pretty costly. Planning parties, travel costs and most importantly your outfit aka Bridesmaid dress.

Recently I discovered a website based in the UK called Prom Times, they sell dresses for many occasions, whether you're going to a wedding, attending a school dance or dancing the night away at a gala, Prom times has got you covered!

Prom Times specializes in wedding and Bridesmaid dresses, they have such a huge selection to choose from and the best part of all of this is it's affordable! How can anyone go wrong there? Prom Times is one of the world's largest online retailers, operating throughout the US and Europe.

Here are my favorite dresses on the site:

These are just a few of the many, many dresses they sell! If you are looking for any kind of evening or occasion dress and are on a budget, I would say go check this store out. Whether it's that wedding, or prom dance you are attending soon, Prom Times has got it all.

Happy dress shopping! Until next time...

Animal Print Mix

It's always fun mixing prints together. For the look today, I am mixing two animal printed pieces together, creating a simple and effortless classy look for any kind of event. The leather detail on the dress helps to finish off with a crisp of edginess, as I paired it up with a leather clutch.

To finish off the look, all you need is your red lipstick, a silver stainless watch and a pair of pearl earrings and you are ready to go!

COACH x FALL 2015

Coach and I go way back, way back to when I was just in middle school. Use to be one of my favorite brands, and now I'm sure everyone has their thoughts on Coach (I know, I did), but Coach has been revamping their brand identity in the last couple of years! And their collections lately are finally stepping up to the plate!

This past month I had the honor and opportunity to work with this great brand. They have an amazing and very chic fall collection (must check it out!). One of my favorite purses thus far is this black 'swagger carryall' purse. I love how it fits all my everyday essentials and is a great transition to this fall season!

Meet Eric of WhoisEricJess on YouTube

| Manly Mondays are back, with a new weekly series, featuring my favorite Men Bloggers from all across the globe.  Each Monday, you’ll get the inside scoop on the different trends, tips, and of course the man behind his blog.   If you are interested in being featured in my Manly Monday’s series, please email me fancynancista@gmail.com. |

Meet Eric, a full-time Social Media Coordinator from LA. In his spare time, he is a Vlogger talking everything menswear and sharing personal style musings.

1) What made you want to start your blog and would you describe your style in 3 words?
Many don't know this but I've been blogging and vlogging since I was in high school about technology. However, I have always been interested into Fashion, and when I posted about an outfit one day, for some reason that got more feedback than any of my entries about the latest Operating System. Personal style is always been something I've been amused by, and I suppose the great feedback motivated me to keep going with it.

I'd describe my style as would be rock n' rock, monochromatic and homeless.

2) Who is your fashion inspiration?
I am going to be that person that says I find inspiration in everything but not one thing specific. Cliche, I know, and trust me I HATE cliches. But really! I find a lot of inspiration here in Los Angeles, both from the modern architecture, the laid back beach towns and the edgy street style.

3) What's the one wardrobe essential you can't live without?
My leather jacket, no doubt. I mean no other item can make you go from skinny pale boy to "badass" in one go.

4) What is your most favorite thing about vlogging?
I love how personal vlogging is. I feel like it's much easier to find your voice in the Vlogging world opposed to blogging - probably because you can actually hear it!

5) What is a quick fashion tip or advice for men?
You're as fashionable as you feel.

6) Do you have any favorite stores or brands?
I mean not going to lie my favorite store is Barney's but that just isn't in the budget for an every occasion shopping spree - one day! But I love to get basics at OAK NYC, Zara and Topman. And for vintage finds definitely Wasteland, an LA gem that you'll more often than not see me cruising while waiting out rush hour.

Fall is here guys! Make sure to check out his latest video on 'Summer to Fall' transition outfits!

Thanks for participating! Find more of Eric's videos here and follow him on Instagram!

Fancista Eats x The Pub at Chino Hills

Happy Friday! How was everyone’s week? Is it just me, or did it feel like just yesterday was Labor Day weekend? How did everyone spend their holiday?

Most of you may know besides fashion, I love food, I mean… Who doesn’t? When I got to LA, I started a food Instagram, FancistaTravels, if you’re not already following me… You should! I have to admit; I have been slacking lately, but will post more of my foodie adventures soon!

Anywho, I spent my Labor Day catching up with one of my college friends from Chicago, and he and I had the opportunity to try some amazing food and drinks at The Pub at ChinoHills.

The one thing about this place is that it’s kind of hidden and away from the “LA” area, I was iffy at first to make the trip, but afterwards my belly and I both agree it was all worth it. J

First things first: The Pub has many great options for beer; however if you are like me, and are not so much of a beer fan, this place has got the tastiest cocktails that you can’t miss. Some of the ones we tried were the Strawberry Basil Margarita and the Cucumbre. Both were amazingly good, but I have to say the Cucumbre was definitely the most refreshing (it was much needed on a 100 degree day)!

While we were looking through the menu (by the way is HUGE), we received a little popcorn treat that is served to each table complimentary. The menu, yes, is huge and luckily, before coming to the restaurant I had done my research, and found a few popular items that the crowd were really raving about, and wanted to try them out.

Some of the popular items were..the Bacon wrapped hot dog, poutine fries and the glazed honey sriracha wings.. All sound delicious! In addition to that, we ended up also trying their fried pork belly bites, spinach dip, duck chorizo tacos, buffalo burger and shrimp mac n cheese.

And last but not least… (save the best for last!!), dessert! I honestly could not eat at this point, but definitely had to try Heath bar brownie a la mode and the cookie sandwiches. A little disappointed that the cookie was not a regular chocolate chip cookie, but was a chocolate one instead, (but who is really complaining?).

Overall, everything was DELICIOUS, and wishing they would deliver all the way to Glendale. James and I decided our most favorites and would totally come back for were…

Bacon Wrapped Hot Dog (seriously, the tastiest hot dog I ever had. Perfectly seasoned, with the right components)

Poutine Fries (I could eat these all day! So goooood)

Shrimp Mac n’ Cheese (this could be my favorite? The shrimp was perfectly cooked, and the best part was it wasn’t as heavy as other mac and cheese plates, it was light and just right)

Buffalo Burger (Super juicy, at this point I couldn’t really eat it but took it home, and still remained juicy and flavorable for leftovers!)

Pub food can be a hit or miss, but this place has got your mouth drooling for more! If you ever find yourself heading down highway 71, you should make a pit stop at The Pub at Chino Hills! The Pub is located at 5771 Pine Ave. Chino Hills, CA.

Don't forget to follow me on Instagram and my Foodie Insta for more pictures. I just moved here, so I am always up for trying new places! What are some of your "must-have" food places to try here in LA? Comment below and let me know!

Have a great Friday loves!

The Red Dress

"When in doubt, wear red. ;-*"

Red can be sexy, playful and a perfect color for a lovely evening out - This dress from The Mint Julep is that dress.

The color of this dress is one plus, the other is the lacy detail that has got everyone swooning over you! ;-)

I paired my dress with some red strapped heels and a simple black clutch.

Hope you guys enjoy!
