The Elegant Look

"A girl should be two things, classy and fabulous" ~Coco Chanel

As simple as an outfit can be, the way you decide to accessorize your look can create a whole new difference. Whether it's wearing a statement necklace, or a bold colored purse, your look can turn from drab to fab! For today's look, my main accessory is this beautiful silver necklace. This necklace does it's justice by glamorizing your whole look!

In addition to this fabulous necklace, these pearl earrings also add to this outfit! Pearls in general make a great statement piece to your everyday look. These earrings in particular are made special. They are customized and personalized just for me! C/o of Swell Caroline for monogramming my Fancy Nancista initials on the back side!  :-)

Get these earrings here, it takes about 2 weeks for her to make them and ship it out to you.

1) What made you want to start your blog and how would you describe your style in 3 words?
I started my blog at the end of college when I realized that I was interested in fashion and wanted to explore my creativity in creating looks and my own clothes. I would say my style is minimal, dark and contemporary.

2) Who is your fashion inspiration?
I don't have one single fashion inspiration, I get inspired by collections and stores, but also my close friends like Mikko Puttonen and Olivia Emily.

3) What's the one wardrobe essential you can't live without?
A pair of black skinny jeans!

4) What is your most favorite thing about blogging?
Meeting new people and making new friends.

5) What is a quick fashion tip or advice for men?
Dress for where you want to be, not where you are.

6) Do you have any favorite stores or brands?
I would say ASOS and Represent Clothing.

Nicole Lee Review

If you know my style, I am all about bright colors and fun prints, whether it's a bright neon green dress or a bold cobalt purse, I just love it.

Recently, I discovered a designer called Nicole Lee. Nicole Lee was first launched in 2004, and is based here in LA. This designer is unique from the rest because each bag comes with different prints and funky designs.

One of my favorite choices out of the collection was the Patisserie Vintage Print Wallet, which also comes with 8 other prints that are amazingly chic! This wallet is great for on the go, if you don't want to carry a purse but like to have all your credit cards, money and  coins in one place, this is a perfect choice. I say this because the wallet itself has many compartments and can fit all of your essentials! What's even more great is that it works just like a wristlet, so you can easily carry it around. Basically you can stay chic any where you go. :-)

This designer has other cute purses such as Sophia Dome Bag and the Lips Purse, just a few that I really adored.

And of course the best part of it all, this designer is inexpensive so by the time you purchase your chic new purse, you won't feel as much guilt as you would spending with another designer.

Ps- What are you guys up to Labor Day weekend? I'll let you in on a little secret... Nicole Lee is having a sample sale that weekend that you obviously can't miss! :-)

What are you waiting for? Go check this cute brand out!

Summer Chic

As summer is coming to an end for most of us, and the scorching hot sun is gradually fading into a cooler breeze, culottes still stay in style til this upcoming season, fall. I have been obsessing over these wide-legged pants all season long; I just love how they are light and flowy, and super versatile.

For today's look, I paired these pants with a yellow top, which helps to bring out the bright in the outfit, and give my look a more summery feel. I then paired my look with a straw floppy hat, nude heels and a red purse to give it a pop. I finished my look off with pearl accessories.

C/o Ana Gutierrez and Swell Caroline for the beautiful pearl pieces. If you know me, I love wearing pearl anything, it's classy, versatile and chic!

One of the things I love about Ana's line is that her collection reflects through her philosophy of environment preservation and social fairness. The ring and it's collection is inspired by the coral reefs of Coco's Island National Park.

What a great accessory!

PS! Have you noticed? I got a new hairdo! Thanks to Dennis Bartolomei -- he gave me a refreshing new do! No more ombre... hello highlights! This man does wonders to your hair, and in a short matter of time my hair went from being split-ended with blonde tips to a freshly cut and sleek look!

He is the man to see if you want that chic, polished transformation.

If you are located in Chicago or LA, you are in luck! Dennis owns a salon in the Gold Coast area of Chicago, 15 E. Pearson and once a month he has services at the Beverly Hills hair salon, Meche, 8820 Burton Way.

Maybe in a few months I'll be coming back for a new look, but for now, what do you guys think?!

Meet Marc of Carrousel Mc

| Manly Mondays are back, with a new weekly series, featuring my favorite Men Bloggers from all across the globe.  Each Monday, you’ll get the inside scoop on the different trends, tips, and of course the man behind his blog.   If you are interested in being featured in my Manly Monday’s series, please email me fancynancista@gmail.com. |

Marc Galobardes is 25 years old and currently living in Munich, Germany. He's a stylist, future journalist, and blogger. When Marc is not working on his blog or pursuing his journalism career, you can find him traveling around the world. His blog, Carrousel Mc was born from the will to fulfill a burning desire, to write and share all of his experiences in one place. "The hyperactivity which fashion fills me with, makes me wake up every day with the urge to continue learning from it at every single moment." Marc has worked with fashion agencies, photographers and has collaborated with different websites. Marc is fluent in Italian, Spanish, Catalan and English, and will not rule out more languages in the future.

1) What made you want to start your blog and how would you describe your style in 3 words?
My blog started a few years ago because I wanted to share my opinion and vision about the fashion world. At the beginning I only posted about news of the fashion business but after some months I decided to put myself in front of the camera and show my readers what I am wearing everyday and what pieces are trending for me.

My style is Elegant, Sophisticated and Comfortable.

2) Who is your fashion inspiration?
Walking through cities when I am traveling or when I'm in Munich. I love to look at people and see how they dress because you can always find some inspiration from their looks. I'm also checking many blogs and web communities of bloggers where you can share and discuss your outfits with other bloggers. Social media like Facebook, Instagram or Twitter also have a big part of where I get my inspiration from. And if I don't have time I simply open my wardrobe and sometimes the inspiration comes. At last I always look through printed magazines that I love to read and analyse every page.

3) What's the one wardrobe essential you can't live without?
I can't live without a well-fitted white shirt because you can mix it with jeans, trousers or shorts.

4) What is your most favorite thing about blogging?
Sharing my life and getting feedback from the readers that become like friends.

5) What is a quick fashion tip or advice for men?
Be yourself and don't worry about negative comments.

6) Do you have any favorite stores or brands?
I always loved Versace's clothes because they have so many unique pieces that you can combine with basics to create an incredible outfit. I love their trousers, jackets and bags. If it comes to shoes I have to go with Tod's. They are made with really good quality, elegant/classic designs and materials. They create the perfect shoes to wear along with a suit or jeans with a shirt. My all time favorite suits are from Hugo Boss. They have fantastic, elegant suits and the tailoring of the suit is perfect and fits extremely well. For sport activities or simply to wear with jeans and sweater I choose Nike because every season they have very special and creative sneakers.
I love all kinds of sunglasses but my favorite glasses designer is Gucci. Their collection includes trendy sunglasses that you can put on every year because they are incredible.

Doesn't Marc have such an impeccable, sharp and classy look? Loving it, what do you guys think? You can find more on Marc by visiting his Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!

Thanks Marc for participating!

The All Leather Look x Slow Watch

Life flies right by our eyes. (As I am writing this I am realizing how crazy it is that it's ALREADY mid AUGUST?) Have you ever wished you could stop, rewind, press play and slow down the time? We all have busy lives nowadays, that time is rather precious but at the same time we are so caught up in the "go go go" hamster wheel of chasing every minute on the clock.

Moving from a fast-paced environment to a more relaxed and calm city has slowed down time just a bit. In Chicago, I felt like most Tuesdays suddenly turned into Fridays after a blink of an eye, and in LA my weeks somehow felt like forever. Although, overnight it somehow became August? :-P

Recently I discovered a unique, beautiful and modern watch called slow watch. slow watch is unique because instead of the typical minute and ticking hand, the watch uses only one hand that shows the full 24 hour day.

Talk about slow ticking! slow watch is not about speed, it's a mindset that centers upon valuing time again. What I really love about this watch is that it really does teach you to just enjoy every moment and spend time doing what you love! It also comes in 15 unisex styles, and all are made with stainless steel, what's not to love?

>> For more pictures on slow watches - Follow them on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook<<

The watch I chose to review is slow Jo 01 - [c/o of  slow watch]. This stainless steel Swiss watch is such a classic beauty that it will match with most of everything in your closet! For my post today I paired it with this hot leather look...Check it out!

What's not to like about leather? Well despite the fact that it was basically 90 degrees when I was wearing this... Leather is red hot...Literally (haha). Since the leather is clearly the standout piece, I wanted to keep it simple by wearing all black. This look is simple, chic and yet sophisticated. Lastly, finishing off my look with my gorgeous silver slow watch, a black clutch and fringe leather heels (which btw are only $20 now!!).
