Farewell 2015

zara blazer (similar, similar) | hm jumpsuit (similar, similar) | metallic heels (similar)

"Tomorrow is the first blank page of a 365 page book. Write a good one."

I can't believe how fast this year has flown, looking back at the year, it's been one heck of a ride. With new friendships made to moving across the country! This year has made me learn more about myself and what I want in life. I'm grateful for all the new friendships made and for all the positive people who have shown support and love for my new journey. This 2015, was definitely a good year...

..and I can't wait to see what 2016 will bring! Hope everyone has a wonderful New Year! Happy 2016!!!!

xoxo,

Nancy

Holidays with Hanes

I will admit, I can be the biggest procrastinator ever, point given, it's a day before Christmas and I still have not finished my Christmas shopping yet! Ah, yes, the holidays can get really hectic and stressful at times... That is why today I will be sharing with you my top five holiday survival kit picks with Hanes that totally will help you get through this season!

1) A warm cup of tea - it's cold, will calm you, is good for you and hey what better way to kick off your New Years "healthy" Resolutions! :-)

My favorites // davidson's wild strawberry | earl grey w/ lavendar

2) Hanes Hosiery - It's hard to look cute and be warm at the same time during the winter; thank goodness for my Hanes Shape Wear Tights! They are a great addition to any outfit you wear this holiday season; they are comfy and will keep your figure looking great all night long!

3) A pair of flats - don't get me wrong, I do LOVE my heels, but when it's an all day kind-of-event, my feet start telling me otherwise. It's not a bad idea to bring a pair of flats with you; trust me... I learned the hard way!

My favorites // lace up flats | block heel loafers

4) A bottle of wine or champagne - yes, you heard it, it's the holidays after all. Who knows where you'll be, doesn't hurt to open up a bottle of wine while you and your girlfriends are cooking something up in the kitchen or "cozy-ing" it up on the couch watching classic holiday movies.

5) iPhone charger - must have at all times. You can't have your phone dying on you! :-)

These are just some of my favorite picks this holiday season; what are some of yours??? How do you get through this holiday season!?

I hope you all have a safe and wonderful Christmas!

xo,
Nancy

Sheinside Camel Coat

Camel coats have been in for as long as I remember; they just go so well with everything in your closet, and they create such a chic yet sophisticated look that can be incorporated in your everyday life.

Today, I styled my camel coat with some unique pieces in my closet! Camel shaded colors go great with a variety of colors. My favorite colors that pair well are all neutral colors, black, gray, white but also an orangy red or even a maroon color, which is a great color this season. :-) With this look, I wore my white button down dress and underneath I paired it with a lace bottom trimmed skirt to give a more flirty/girly taste. I then accessorized with a blue statement necklace, a nude clutch and a maroon colored loafers (which are btw on sale!).

It's definitely getting a bit chillier here in LA - this coat is not only super affordable and comfy, but it has the perfect thickness to keep you warm in this kind of weather!

Gift Guide - Stocking Stuffers for Her & Him:

I can't believe how fast the holidays have come; Thanksgiving seems like a blur, and Christmas is only a few weeks away. With the city filled with Christmas decorations, and lights that bright up the streets, it's safe to say that Santa will be on his way soon :-).

This past weekend my roommates and I finally shopped for our perfect tree. That Sunday, we spent it decorating the tree, baking Christmas cookies and placing our stockings against the wall. Gee, I love the holidays!

Today, I have put together some fun little 'Stocking Stuffers' ideas for Her & Him; this list will help you make shopping for your loved ones a bit easier! :-)

Ponte Leggings

forever21 blazer | crop top (similar) | c/o no nonsense leggings
blue clutch (similar) | old navy loafers

What's comfy, versatile, comes in a variety of colors and yet stylish? Can you guess? A pair of leggings. Leggings are a great staple to your everyday look, and though, temperatures are dropping down as the chilly season passes by, it's totally possible to keep your looks chic with the help of some leggings. If you know me well, you should know that leggings are my favorite everyday piece to wear in the fall/winter seasons. I would choose a pair of leggings over a pair of jeans any day.

The leggings I am wearing today are called 'Ponte Leggings,' from No nonsense, and I seriously LOVE these leggings! These leggings are super durable and thick enough for this current season; and are great when you want to dress up or dress down. They are so comfy, I wear them very so often!

In this look today, I paired it with a striped crop top (lol, crop tops in december?!), a black long blazer (which btw is on sale for $20!), and spiced it up with a royal blue/neon clutch and my maroon colored loafers, making this look an all around casual/dressy look.
